6 Most Photogenic Family Vacation Destinations

July 6th, 2016

A lovely family vacation is the perfect way to spend the dog days of summer. Where to go, though? There’s plenty of stunning vistas to see all across the country and little doubt you know of some pretty photogenic destinations within an hour of your home. These are the six most photogenic family vacation destinations across this great country. If you disagree, well…that’s why you can share this post and tell us how wrong we are on social media.

  1. Disney World – When the words “family vacation” come to mind, you think of Chevy Chase or Disney World, so it is fitting for our top spot to go to the Magic Kingdom. Every family vacation that heads to Disney World needs to snap a picture in front of Cinderella’s Castle.

  2. Niagara Falls – Whether you choose the Maid of the Mist boat ride or the Cave of the Winds, there are spectacular photos to be had at this natural wonder.

  3. National Mall – It was impossible to pick just a single monument in Washington, D.C. to select for this list, so we’re suggesting the entire Mall. Which conveniently includes the Smithsonian. We’re efficient like that.

  4. The Beach – Everyone has their favorite beach (seems like Gulf Shores, Alabama has been showing up a lot this summer), but there’s no doubt that a family photo on a sunny day at the beach will be tucked safely inside a family photo album for years to come.

  5. Mount Rushmore – Really, you could put “All of Southwest South Dakota” here to be safe. Between Mount Rushmore, the Black Hills, and the Badlands, there’s a lot of scenery to pose with in a wonderful family vacation photo. PRO TIP: Go to Mount Rushmore during the day, but make sure you go back at night. And if you’re lucky, you’ll catch a stellar fireworks show.

  6. MLB Game – Even if you’re not a fan of baseball, attending a baseball game is just quintessentially American. If your family has split loyalties (like a Cubs and Cardinals household), you could always look at the schedules and plan a trip to hit both ballparks.

There are so many wonderful destinations all across America to get that perfect family vacation photograph. What are your favorites?
